Chris Sullivan's A Bit of Irish
Chris Sullivan

"When Irish Eyes Dot Com" was a solo show presented and performed by actor Chris Sullivan, which had a sell out world premiere performance on Saint Patrick's Day, 2000 at Santa Monica Playhouse, California.

A change of title to 'IRISH EYES' was a sufficient enough title for a mini British tour in April 2002 and a further title has change to 'CHRIS SULLIVAN 'S ONE MAN IRISH SHOW' for The Edinburgh Festival where it ran at the KOMEDIA THEATRE at the Roman Eagle Lodge for the month of August in 2002.

The permanent title now is A BIT OF IRISH.

There are many Irish writers: Brendan Behan, James Joyce, Sean O'Casey, John Millington Synge, Oscar Wilde, William Butler Yeats, George Bernard Shaw and many many more. The show, which is an Irish celebration, will feature songs, poetry and speeches from some of the above, plus some funny stories and the odd sing-along from and about Ireland.

In 2009 there are two venues; the first is at Santa Monica Playhouse and the second is in London at the prime ‘Off-West-End’ Jermyn Street Theatre.
